I just reviewed this book. UK viewers, the tv show is coming this week.
Check it out: The Library of Lost and Found by Phaedra Patrick

Phaedra Patrick writes novels that readers want to read. They are warm and insightful, often featuring characters who are trying to find their way in the world. I think those who enjoy novels by Ruth Hogan will also enjoy titles by Phaedra Patrick.
This book is about Martha. She is a librarian who feels most comfortable when living amongst her books. I always enjoy books about books. This story has one that features pr0minently.
What will happen to Martha when she receives a legacy from her grandmother? Have fun finding out in this lovely book.
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions are my own.
Note: Phaedra Patrick has a new book coming out in July.

Seeing this book as an e book bargain today reminded me that I had meant to review it. It is worth a look.
Those who enjoy an idiosyncratic character who uses her baby carrier in a unique way may want to pick this title up. It tells the story of those around her. These include Judy’s husband, her teenage son and, oh yes, her dog. What will happen to this children’s book and self-help author who finds it hard to help herself? Read this at times amusing, at times touching novel to find out.
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions are my own.

A Secret Scottish Escape
by Julie Shackman

This might just be the perfect read for a cold winter’s day when a reader is looking for escape. It is long (over 400 pages) and currently just $2.99 in the e book edition.
This book has a central character in Layla. She has just experienced the death of her fiancee and this did not happen in a very good way. Layla knows that she needs a change and so she goes to Scotland, to a place that she was from. A good thing about this title is the setting.
What will await Layla here? How do recluses and music fit into the plot? Will there be a happy-ever-after for Layla? Read this one to find out.
Many thanks to NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions are my own.
