A good collection for children and their adults: Recipe Road Trip (Nanette Lavin)

 #RecipeRoadTrip #NetGalley

This book offers kids and adults a chance to make some food together and build some memories. The recipes that make up this title are organized by regions of the country. For example, in the Northeast section, kids will find apple cider doughnuts from New Hampshire or Philly Cheesesteak from Pennsylvania. I saw a recipe for Johnny Cakes a food from my childhood in Rhode Island. Every section of the country has something good to offer in these pages

In addition to the recipes, the book also includes some menus. For example, the Southeast one suggests coleslaw, corn and Southern fried chicken. As an extra bonus, some interesting facts about the states are included.

Browse, cook, enjoy. Many thanks to NetGalley and Kitchen Ink Publishing for this title. All opinions are my own.

I love to read, recommend books and open the world of reading to others. I tutor to ensure that the next generation of readers will know the joys of a good book because their reading skills have improved. I am an avid reader, especially of mysteries and fiction. I believe that two of the world's greatest inventions were the public library and eyeglasses!
