Brenda Novak writes stories that readers enjoy. That is again the case here. In Tourist Season, the story takes place in the summer which makes it a great read for August.

Ismay is visiting Mariner Island where she is awaiting the arrival of her fiancé Remy. However, events do not play out as expected. There is a hurricane and Remy cannot get there.

Alone in the house, Ismay learns some things. How will the things that she now knows impact her and (potentially) change her life? What will be the role of the estate’s caretaker? Readers will want to know.

This book will be enjoyed by those who already look forward to each new Novak title. It may also find some new fans for the author,
