A shoutout for Sophie Green

Sophie Green is an author whose books I randomly discovered a few months ago. They are perfect for those who like long, immersive reads that feature every day women trying to manage their lives while relying on the support of their friends.

Each book seems to be set in a different part of Australia in the recent past. I have read three so far and have enjoyed them so much. They are perfect for a bit of escape.

Have you heard of Sophie Green? Did you like her books if you did? I’d love to know.

I love to read, recommend books and open the world of reading to others. I tutor to ensure that the next generation of readers will know the joys of a good book because their reading skills have improved. I am an avid reader, especially of mysteries and fiction. I believe that two of the world's greatest inventions were the public library and eyeglasses!

  1. Sophie Green writes lovely books and I have just recently gone back and read ‘The Inaugural Meeting of the Fairvale Ladies Book Club’. While I think it is light on book club literature, it certainly has some good characters showing the struggles and romance of country life on the land in 1970s Northern Territory, Australia.
